Feedback
Systems: these devices, used on cars fitted with catalytic
converters, running on natural gas or LPG, constantly regulate the fuel
and maintain the correct air/gas ratio (stoichiometrical) as the
different operational conditions vary. |
 |
Timing
advance processors: electronic devices which, by varying
the car’s original ignition point (timing advance), optimize the
engine’s operation when an alternative fuel is used (natural gas or
LPG). |
 |
Emulators:
electronic devices which, when used on cars equipped for an alternative
fuel, simulate proper operation of certain devices in the car’s
original system (injectors, oxygen sensor, MAP, TPS, etc.), thus
preventing malfunctions. |
 |
Switches:
electronic devices for fuel selection on cars converted to run on
LPG/natural gas. |
 |
Sensors and
indicators: LPG level sensors and natural gas pressure
sensors that read the amount of fuel remaining in the tank. |
 |
Injections: electronic control units for direct
and indirect injections engines, that flank the original ECU and manage
the gas fuel supply, optimising engine performance and subsequent
emissions. |

AEB Alternative Fuel Electronics also manufactures several
accessories
to be used together with other product families to optimize the car’s
conversion and operation. |
| The division’s R&D currently focuses on designing
innovative equipment that will allow eco-friendly alternative fuels to
be used on all types of vehicles. |
