The injector is an electro-mechanical component used to dose the correct quantity of gas required in the different working conditions of engines that use alternative fuels: LPG or CNG.
The electro-injector is positioned downstream of the pressure reducer and upstream of the engine intake manifolds.
The injector doses the right amount of gas to be injected into the intake manifolds. When the coils are energized, the shutter moves and lets the gas pass through a calibrated nozzle. The stroke that the shutter performs, the opening time and the diameter of the nozzle, are the characteristics that have the greatest influence on the carburetion of the engine.
This rail is composed of an aluminum body and 3 interchangeable brass nozzles available in different diameters.
